The Enchanted Garden
Chapter One
She fell asleep in the forest with a book in her hands, the quiet hum of nature wrapped gently around her.
When she opened her eyes, the world was different. The air shimmered. The forest had softened into something more alive.
Soft lights flickered ahead, drifting deeper into the garden. Something unseen was guiding her forward.
She followed the glow to a small tea gathering tucked among the vines and lantern light.Petals drifted.The garden felt welcoming, as if it had been waiting for her.
Wandering past the quiet pond, she noticed a frog resting near the water’s edge, a small crown perched upon his head. He watched in stillness, as though he knew more than he would ever say.
The path softened into moss and shadow. She rested beneath a great mushroom, the glow of the garden fading into a dreamlike calm.
She woke in the forest, wondering if it had all been a dream.
The garden was gone.
The lantern light, the laughter, the glow — all of it.
Then she reached into her pocket…
and felt something waiting there.
A small piece of the garden had come back with her.
And in that quiet moment, she knew —
it had all been real.
